- EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology is upgraded for 2026 with features like available Hands-Free Driving Assist for less driver fatigue at highway speeds and is able to automatically slow down as it approaches curves.
- Emergency Stop Assist with Safe Lane Selection is also available to pull the Outback over and stop if the driver becomes unresponsive.
- Lane Change Assist, another new feature, checks if a merge is safe when the turn signal is activated during hands-free driving and then can execute lane changes automatically.
